Dr. Dell Gines, a leader in community transformation and inclusive economic development, will headline the event as the keynote speaker! While on the Board of Directors at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Dr. Gines led community development initiatives. He now serves as Vice President at the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and continues to lead with his commitment to economic development. His deep dive into ecosystem building, especially in distressed urban and rural communities, has cemented his reputation. With mentions in PBS, Forbes, CNN Business, and a slew of other high- profile publications, his 2018 research report on Black women business startups has become a must-read in the business community.

Dr. Gines has captured the attention of audiences in over 50 cities with his message of developing strong community ecosystems and uplifting communities. Dr. Gines is academically decorated with an MBA, a Master of Finance, and a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska School of Public Administration.
